El Mangroove

It’s a permanent love affair for us here as our team formed part of its creation and we breathe its success. Eagerly and proudly this awesome hip and uber-hot property mixes man and mangrove in a groovy-kind-of-way. Located at only 20 minutes from the Liberia airport it’s a perfect spot for a corporate meeting just alike as it caters to leisure guests. Priced far under value, it was also just as much of solution to a prominent areas need, as it was a revolution!

Our Signature Program

Perched on the edge of Playa Panama’s chocolate-sand beach, the Mangroove is just 20 minutes from the Liberia regional airport. The surrounding Guanacaste province has many volcanoes, waterfalls, hot springs and rich flora and fauna to explore, while national parks, wildlife refuges, quaint villages, historic sites and countless golden beaches nearby provide guests with a wide variety of activities for an authentic Costa Rican experience. To range farther afield, guests will want to arrange for a rental car at the airport.

El Mangroove’s 85 suites nestle in the mangrove and beachfront forests, offering guests a laid-back and barefoot luxury experience. Each suite features an open-air living room complete with local art, hammocks and private terraces, each suite is fully equipped, complete with adults-only amenities. Mixing wood and water with contemporary linear architecture, natural furnishings and subtle splashes of color, the Mangroove delivers a true sense of hedonistic indulgence based on simplicity.

The Matiss restaurant serves lighter fare in an oceanfront setting. The cocktails are spot-on, mixed to bring out the best of Costa Rica’s nightlife, while the former head chef of London’s Michelin-ranked Barbecoa presides over the Makoko restaurant. With the pulsating beat of electro music, a definite South Beach vibe justifies the pun in the Mangroove name. The on-site Bearth Spa offers guests ample time for relaxation and recovery in a natural setting. Two private Mako boats take guests out onto the Gulf of Papagayo for a voyage of discovery, sea and sun.
